Mission / Core purpose of the Job The OPCO Interface Manager will be responsible for acting as a primary link with Security Product Managers in other OPCOs to ensure these OPCOs can leverage Security solutions developed within Converged Solutions. He/She will plan the activities for ensuring that all OPCO demand for Security solutions that have been developed by Converged Solutions are well-documented, packaged, aggregated and communicated to the OPCOs. The OPCO Interface Manager is expected to lead the development of a Security solutions delivery / export roadmap to support the OPCO team with specific Security solutions. He/She will manage the interactions with other MTN Business Units and OPCOs to leverage on existing infrastructure and product capabilities, in line with the vision of Converged Solutions in order to support growth of the Security portfolio across MTN Group. Key Performance Areas: The OPCO Interface Manager will be accountable to achieve the following objectives: Foster relationships with MTN OPCOs by designing a consultative engagement framework to enable Converged Solutions to be a trusted security partner. Lead the development of a Security solutions delivery / export roadmap to support the OPCO team with specific Security solutions. Communicate the current and future Security portfolio catalogue to MTN OPCOs. Aggregate OPCO demand for Security solutions within Converged Solutions. Contribute towards the Product Security strategy by analysing market trends, customer and business requirements in order to enhance revenue growth initiatives. Contribute towards developing sales and business plans to drive OPCO growth. Develop Playbooks / Toolkits for launched Security solutions to provide guidance from lessons learned. Create a digital repository to facilitate sharing of Security solution documentation with ease ensuring OPCOs can easily leverage it. Create a structure engagement mechanism to ensure OPCO demand is prioritised and addressed efficiently. Provide regular reports on engagements with OPCOs and the impact thereof. Contribute towards the integration of ICT solutions by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including peer product managers from other lines of business, in order to position Converged Solutions as an end-to-end ICT service provider. Contribute towards ICT products solutions offerings by leveraging and managing relationships with alliance partners in order to provide competitive product solutions. Stay abreast of industry best practice by conducting research and evaluating industry best practice, local conditions and competitor activity, in order to provide insight into modern security trends that are in line with an ever-changing security landscape. Provide specialist knowledge by analysing and translating key Security industry information into meaningful intelligence to enable decision making. Maximise product value by identifying opportunities for product expansions and areas of obsolescence in order to deliver agile enterprise security solutions. Revenue, Cost and Budget Management Contribute towards budget management within the function by identifying inefficient areas and seek ways to reduce expenditure in order to deliver on set revenue targets. Ensuring appropriate Governance and Quality Control measures: Utilize sound practices that comply with best practice, legislation, or other regulations / parameters / guidelines. Maintain quality standards that will enhance the customer experience and cost efficiency. Work consistently according to standard operating procedures. Analyse situations and take necessary action to ensure quality is maintained. Seek feedback from clients / stakeholders and continuously seeks ways of improving on quality and customer service standards. Education: Minimum of 3-year degree / diploma in ICT / Commerce or related Relevant certification / accreditation / membership with professional body as required for role Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in area of specialisation coupled with a proven record of successfully driving growth and success within a fast-paced environment. Experience in launching and/or managing Security solutions. Experience in working with external partners and diverse cultures in collaborative development.
