Metal Accountant (Metallurgical Engineering), Weltevredenpark, RNeg + BenRequirements:Matric Certificate/ Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Science)Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering Degree is essentialMinimum 2 years post qualification experience in a metal accounting roleMinimum of 3 years’ experience on PGM plantsSound knowledge of Metal Control for PGM and Base Metals for Mass and Metal BalancingPlant processing knowledge on PGM flotation, Chrome recovery plant experience will be advantageousValid certificate of fitnessValid code 8 driver’s license and own transportResponsibilities:Team player; self-managed, self-motivated, enthusiastic individualEnsure that technical data is accurateCompile accurate and concise reports at intervals required by managementContinuously liaise with the operations management on process control activitiesContinuous liaison with the group Management Accountant relating to targets, budgets, benchmarking and technical data required by the finance departmentEnsure that all matters relating to mass and metal balancing, recoveries and accountabilities are addressedContinuous liaison with Business Analyst on all matters relating to Concentrator performanceData collation, reporting and managementLiaise with the Production Department, to ensure correct quality of reporting to managementCo-ordinate, report on the movement of final concentrate from all operations as per off-take agreementLiaise and maintain a good working relationship with the company’s smelter client(s) and attend to matters relating to concentrate dispatchesLiaise and maintain a good working relationship with all other relevant stakeholdersMonthly reconciliationsLiaison and reconcile final concentrate deliveries with off-take partnerReconcile material purchases with operations and Management accountantUnderstanding of IT requirements for the Weighbridge / Bar Coding, Metal Accounting and Evaluation needs present and future#J-18808-Ljbffr
