Metal Accountant (Metallurgical Engineering), Weltevredenpark, RNeg + Ben Requirements: Matric Certificate/ Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Science) Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering Degree is essential Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in a metal accounting role Minimum of 3 years’ experience on PGM plants Sound knowledge of Metal Control for PGM and Base Metals for Mass and Metal Balancing Plant processing knowledge on PGM flotation, Chrome recovery plant experience will be advantageous Valid certificate of fitness Valid code 8 driver’s license and own transport Responsibilities: Team player; self-managed, self-motivated, enthusiastic individual Ensure that technical data is accurate Compile accurate and concise reports at intervals required by management Continuously liaise with the operations management on process control activities Continuous liaison with the group Management Accountant relating to targets, budgets, benchmarking and technical data required by the finance department Ensure that all matters relating to mass and metal balancing, recoveries and accountabilities are addressed Continuous liaison with Business Analyst on all matters relating to Concentrator performance Data collation, reporting and management Liaise with the Production Department, to ensure correct quality of reporting to management Co-ordinate, report on the movement of final concentrate from all operations as per off-take agreement Liaise and maintain a good working relationship with the company’s smelter client(s) and attend to matters relating to concentrate dispatches Liaise and maintain a good working relationship with all other relevant stakeholders Monthly reconciliations Liaison and reconcile final concentrate deliveries with off-take partner Reconcile material purchases with operations and Management accountant Understanding of IT requirements for the Weighbridge / Bar Coding, Metal Accounting and Evaluation needs present and future #J-18808-Ljbffr
