Our client is seeking a Generator and Transformer Supervisor to join their team, based in East London.Minimum Requirements:-Technical degree or certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and operation of generators and transformersPrevious experience in a supervisory role preferredStrong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprintsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentWillingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency situationsValid driver's license and reliable transportationDuties:-Supervise a team of Technicians and Electricians in the maintenance and operation of generators and transformersDevelop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for generators and transformersMonitor the performance of generators and transformers and troubleshoot any issues that may ariseCoordinate with vendors for the procurement of necessary parts and equipment for maintenance and repairsConduct regular inspections of generators and transformers to identify any potential problems and address them in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance and repair activitiesKeep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including equipment logs and maintenance reportsTrain and mentor new Technicians and Electricians on proper maintenance and operation procedures for generators and transformersCommunicate effectively with Property Managers and other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of generators and transformersStay updated on industry trends and advancements in generator and transformer technology to make recommendations for improvements to systems
