The Sage Intacct Senior Consultant is responsible for Financial ERP system implementations, add-ons and optimisation projects. The Senior Consultant determines the clients' business needs, works with a team to develop customised system solutions and integrate third-party applications with existing infrastructure. The aim is to successfully deliver and manage software implementation projects within a team environment, while seeking opportunities to continually provide value to their clients. This will require exceptional consulting services to clients, exceeding their expectations consistently in delivering successful projects. Duties and Responsibilities: Client Engagement Conducts analysis of client business processes and functional requirements, defines requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow for the development of a technical solution proposal, and also documents these requirements. Formulates solutions that will meet their business needs and expectations in an efficient and timely manner. Project scoping and planning to deliver successful implementation and support. Implementation and Support Implementation of Financial ERP, i.e. Sage Intacct, requires scoping of project, designing and customising the solution to suit client’s requirements and specifications in line with sound Accounting principles. Conducts UAT and trains users on new system to enable them to become self-sufficient in the use of the software which has been configured for their purposes. Assists with the smooth integration of business processes after go-live, providing hands-on support to customer on adoption of new system and during month end processes. Provides client support as and when required. Identifies and implements effective solutions to manage and resolve clients’ concerns, challenges and pain points with installed products. This includes handling questions, solving problems, creating reports, performing upgrades, as well as ensuring client's general satisfaction with the software and the company i.e. updates configurations based on quarterly Impact Releases, addresses and resolves user and/or system errors timeously and provides regular weekly status updates to client on project plan. Thought Leadership Works as part of a team, contributing and sharing best practices, knowledge, resources and ideas. Remains abreast with latest trends on cloud based financial technologies and apply them whilst working on projects to optimise clients' financial performance through the application of technology. Remains well informed and keep up to date with new Sage Intacct product releases, new modules and enhancements. Coaches and mentors team members. Qualifications&Certifications Completed bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field. Sage Intacct Implementation certification Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in a Sage Consultant role. Experience with Sage Intacct implementation (end to end), minimum 2 full implementations, including integrations and reporting. ERP consulting experience and experience with other ERP packages, applications, platforms. Experience following detailed work plans for project activities within scope. Experience supporting end users with general ERP systems. Advanced level of Excel proficiency is essential, including the ability to create data transformation workbooks and/or macros to manipulate data and facilitate uploads will be advantageous. Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Excellent administration skills (required for task list updating, completing time sheets, creating reports, etc.). Ability to work exceptionally fast and effectively under high pressure environments.
