About the job Business AnalystKey purpose:As a Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for creating business requirements and translating them into functional specifications. You will also collaborate with software developers on the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria. You should have an interest in technology as well as business analysis. Experience with IT Governance is preferred but not required.Duties and responsibilities:Experience in defining and implementing project lifecycle management and governance strategy for software developmentKnowledge of software delivery life cycle, process improvement, and software delivery methodologiesBasic understanding of key systems architecture and design such as planning, performance, production support and related conceptsBasic understanding of basic project management Functions as a member of project management and execution teamsConducts business analysis activities (assessing and monitoring the overall state of a project) to determine and implement appropriate governance activities such as security, release management, configuration management, change management, incident management and risk managementIdentifies and recommends ways to alleviate risks, delay budget overruns, and improve project executionAnalyzes costs of alternate approaches, identifies incremental improvements and identifies new concepts to apply in projectsProvides the primary interface with operational functions of the organization that affect the project's business process improvementQualifications and experience:Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field requiredMust have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint and OutlookThree years of experience as a business analyst, system administrator, database developer, network engineer or similar role with the ability to work on both Windows and Linux systems preferredExperience with Oracle Database, SQL Server, and Microsoft Active Directory/Windows Active Directory preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
