The main purpose of this position is to provide team leadership of system support services to the Banking Services and Corporation for Public Deposits (CPD) Division in the Financial Services Department by identifying business problems and needs, determining solutions, developing the test scenarios and test cases as well as testing the solution and enabling an improvement in organisational processes.Detailed Description DescriptionThe main purpose of this position is to provide team leadership of system support services to the Banking Services and Corporation for Public Deposits (CPD) Division in the Financial Services Department by identifying business problems and needs, determining solutions, developing the test scenarios and test cases as well as testing the solution and enabling an improvement in organisational processes.Detailed DescriptionProvide team leadership in user acceptance testing (UAT), regression, compatibility and adaptability.Approve the gap analysis outcome and business requirements identified through business engagements.Review and approve the test plan, approach, scenarios and cases to ensure the adherence to a structured and detailed test process.Develop and manage the implementation of the system UAT, business processes, procedures and standards to which the SARB must adhere.Supervise and lead firstlevel systems support.Review and approve the user manuals and conduct enduser training.Design a reporting approach and provide consistent and accurate UAT reports (results of testing scenarios, projects underway and so on).Lead the engagement and collaboration with relevant stakeholders in analysing business needs and the testing of new requirements.Assess and report on the impact on business of any systems changes initiated by external factors (from within or outside the SARB).Lead post deployment support for solutions tested to ensure the seamless implementation thereof.Engage at varying levels of seniority with the relevant stakeholders within the SARB Group as well as with external parties.Ensure that systems are compliant with the SARB's policies as well as legislative requirements to adequately mitigate risks and achieve the SARB's objectives.Propose and implement the refinement and continuous improvement of systems, tools, controls, methods and processes in the Banking Services and CPD Division.Fulfil the team leadership function pertaining to the development and performance of the team.Assist the business team and stakeholders during the business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) process.Job Requirementsat least a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting (NQF 7) or an equivalent qualification;- five to seven years' working experience in accounting or a banking services environment; and- experience in leading teams is a key requirement of the job.Additional requirements include:- knowledge and skill in:- industry, organisational and business awareness;- quality assurance;- continuous improvement;- continued learning and/or professional development;- the enablement of legislation and governance, risk and compliance;- the software development lifecycle;- business analysis;- project management principles;- user acceptance testing; and- testing ;- driving results;- effective communication;- analysis and problem-solving;- building and managing relationships;- stakeholder focus;- planning and organising;- attention to detail;- flexibility;- resilience; and- conceptual thinking.How To ApplyAll interested parties are invited to apply.All the available vacancies will be visible.Login:Is this your first visit to our Job Site? > Register today (Ensure that you include all your skills and qualifications during the registration process.); orAlready registered on our Job Site? > Already registered? > Login here.Select 'Date posted' > 'Last 3 weeks' (in the dropdown menu).Select the appropriate IRC number to view the full advertisement.**The SARB offers remuneration and benefits commensurate with the level of the position and in line with the market.
