What You'll Do: Be a hero behind the scenes, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure 24/7. Apply your Linux expertise to keep our systems up-to-date with the latest security patches. Prepare Dell servers for migration to a new vendor, ensuring a seamless transition. Tackle incidents head-on, resolving both standard and critical issues efficiently. Proactively identify potential problems and lead efforts to find solutions. Participate in change management processes to ensure smooth implementation of new initiatives. Maintain up-to-date documentation across various systems, keeping everyone informed. Foster a collaborative environment by supporting and enabling your team. Continuously improve by developing KPIs and measurements to optimize performance. We're Looking For: A problem-solving rockstar with at least 4 years of IT operations experience. A Linux guru with deep knowledge of Unix, Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, SLES, Ubuntu), and Windows. Backup management expertise, with a minimum of 4 years of experience. A champion of Agile methodologies, with at least 4 years of Scrum experience under your belt. A scripting pro with at least 4 years of experience in Perl or Python. A strong understanding of ITIL principles (certification a plus). Experience with orchestration and automation tools is a major bonus. Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket/GitHub is a big advantage. Bonus Points for: Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience leading or collaborating within these teams. Experience with Red Hat and Ubuntu in a virtualized environment for high-performance configurations. Experience with Veritas Clusters and CMDB. IT Project Management (ITPM) process knowledge. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Experience leading and coordinating international teams. Familiarity with ITSM suites and ITIL processes.
