Employer DescriptionA leading used Car sales company with head office located Pretoria, Centurion.Job DescriptionOur client seeks a suitably qualified Junior Legal Advisor to provide accurate and timely legal advice to business stakeholders on a range of legal topics including contracts, regulatory compliance, data privacy, consumer protection and company policies.Duties and Responsibilities include:Advise on all legal matters with a particular focus on contracts, litigation, ombud matters and regulatory complianceDraft, vet and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including credit applicationsConduct legal research and provide legal opinion on a variety of legal topicsManage key operational contracts and certificates/licences (including renewals, cancellations and terminations)Manage all complaints lodged with the relevant industry ombudsman and the consumer commissionSupport with the preparation of affidavits in response to subpoenasProvide training to the business units on FICA complianceSupport the FICA compliance team where requiredAssist with data privacy matters and breachesSupport the Legal and Compliance team as requiredSupport the Head of Legal as required
