Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing projects. This role includes the management of consulting and in-house engineers, as well as checking and approving analytical calculations, empirical simulations, CAD models, and manufacturing drawings. Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. 5 years of work experience in a relevant field of engineering and management. 2 years of experience working as a lead engineer. CAD experience (Solidworks). Experience using a product management system (Team Centre). Hands-on experience with mining logistics machinery. Proficient in office products such as Teams, Excel, and Word Responsibilities: Site visits required. Set up project requirements and schedules. Generate project scope. Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Ensure designs meet manufacturing, technical, and customer requirements. Ensure all design projects are completed within budget and on time. Delegate tasks, track progress, and report on outcomes. Manage the engineering team. Interact with clients. Conduct site visits and oversee commissioning. Focus on project management and design from conception to completion. Demonstrate strong design and mechanical, structural analysis competency, including FEA. Supervise both mechanical engineers and draftsmen within their own project scope as well as others. Conduct structural analysis on chassis design concepts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
