We are looking for a talented and experienced Solar Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and developing solar power systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and other engineers to deliver efficient and effective solar energy solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including site assessment, system layout, and electrical design.Conduct feasibility studies and energy yield assessments for potential projects.Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope).Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of solar systems.Perform system performance analysis and troubleshoot issues as needed.Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in solar energy.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.Experience in solar PV system design.Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, design principles, and industry standards.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Helioscope.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Certification in solar energy (e.g., NABCEP) is a plus.Please send your cv to rusteyn@networkrecruitment.co.za#J-18808-Ljbffr
