Job Description:Analyzing and defining the extent of work requiredCreating and updating comprehensive bills of materials, along with their 3D representationsManaging product data effectivelyDeveloping both 3D parts and 2D part drawings to align with supplier and regulatory specificationsCollaborating with international suppliers and clients to refine designsFacilitating concept and design evaluationsAcquiring proficiency in operating CAD software and PLM systemsAssisting customers with daily operationsProposing innovative solutions to enhance cost-effectiveness, address service challenges, and advance product qualityCoordinating with materials and procurement teams regarding new part designs and procurementEngaging with Analysis, Test, and Manufacturing Engineering to optimize material usage and manufacturing processesEnsuring product designs comply with government regulations, standards, and codes, in collaboration with Product Regulation and Compliance personnelSkills & Experience: 2+ years of experience in Mechanical design engineering3D CAD experienceWilling to travel overseas for variable periodsQualification:BEng Degree or BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
