Manage and prioritize IT Systems Development tasks through the effective deployment of resources and efficient workload allocation. Lead a team of system developers to drive innovation and ensuring that Business IT Systems requirements are sufficiently developed and adhered to. Job Function: Team Management: Lead and manage a team of software developers, engineers, and QA professionals. Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback. Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Prioritize tasks and ensure project progress. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to the development team. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and industry trends. Make technical decisions and trade-off analyses. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management, design, and operations. Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team. Resource Management: Manage resource allocation, including team members, vendors, and contractors. Ensure adequate resources to meet project demands. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks and potential roadblocks. Develop contingency plans and ensure business continuity. Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality software development and delivery. Implement quality processes, such as testing, CI/CD, and code reviews. Innovation and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes. Budgeting and Cost Management: Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness. Make financial decisions and trade-off analyses. Reporting and Metrics: Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders. Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure team performance. Education and Certifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Developer) Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+) Network Recruitment is a leading specialist recruitment company in the fields of IT, Finance and Engineering.
