About Our Client : Our client is a leading medical scheme based in Pretoria, dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare benefits to its members. In line with their growth and commitment to excellence, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Business Support Consultant to join their team. Functions : • Partner with different departments to facilitate support between business operations and IT systems. • Provide user support on various BIT platform modules, including claims, finance, membership, and manage healthcare. • Respond to user queries and issues promptly, resolving or escalating as necessary. • Assist trainers in developing training material for BIT systems. • Provide regular feedback on process and business changes. • Generate management reports to improve business systems and processes. • Collaborate with external partners, such as 2Cana, to resolve issues. • Work independently with minimal supervision to meet performance metrics.. Skills : • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, and Internet. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. • Excellent negotiation skills. • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans with strong interpersonal communication. • Team player with a caring attitude. • Flexible in adapting to changes and management decisions. • Proficient in problem-solving techniques and record keeping. • Leadership skills and ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships. Requirements : • Grade 12 or equivalent. • Diploma in IT or related field. • 4-5 years of experience in supporting users on the system in use. • 2-4 years of experience in supporting users on Health Information Platform or Oracle-based systems. • Exposure within the Medical Aid environment is advantageous. • Analytical thinking and strategic thinking skills. • Strong problem-solving abilities. • Customer-focused with excellent listening skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
