Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role as a Search Engine Optimization Specialist at Starbright. The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will be responsible for conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, building links, analyzing web analytics, and performing on-page SEO. The role is located in Pretoria but allows for some remote work. SEO Related Responsibilities: Keyword research for SEO Maintain and optimise website content on various CMS platforms UX Audits with recommendations Keep abreast with latest SEO trends and implement measures to mitigate effects of major algorithm updates Content optimisation of landing pages Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed websites Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to align with modern best practices Monthly reporting on SEO performance Interact with clients to gain insights into their business and communicate digital marketing strategies clearly Competitor analysis Requirements Proven SEO experience Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Web CEO and SEMrush) Experience with A/B split testing Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms Up-to-date with best practices in SEO Outstanding knowledge and understanding of search intent and internet culture Strong knowledge of content management systems (WordPress, Joomla and Drupal for example) Personal qualities Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills Exceptional eye for detail Self-motivated with a positive attitude A team player who collaborates well with others Takes pride in your work Organised and efficient Problem solver with desire to figure things out and learn by doing Ability to work across multiple industries and sectors Minimum experience level Three+ years of experience in a similar position Relevant diploma/degree will be beneficial If you have not heard back from us within two weeks please consider your application unsuccessful. #J-18808-Ljbffr
