Job Description: The permanent position of InternalAuditor- ICT is vacant. The Internal Auditor – ICT will report directly to the InternalAudit Manager – ICT and forms part of the Internal Audit Division. The positionis based at Head Office. [ads1] Job Responsibilities: Provided regular updates to the engagement leader on the progress and findings. Proactively handle additional duties as reasonably requested by internal audit management from time to time. Assist in the development and maintenance of a risk based internal audit plan for ICT. Identify, assess and document risks and controls. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls. Manage stakeholder expectations and commitments, keeping stakeholders informed of audit progress and issues timely. Assist in the development and maintenance of the ICT audit universe. Develop testing strategies for controls adequacy and effectiveness testing. Complete working papers and write findings where necessary for allocated tests; and Deliver allocated tasks timely, appraising the audit leader on any delivery delays. Job Requirements: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Knowledge of external leading risk and controls frameworks such as COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and related Technology), ISO27000, and IT related internal controls. Excellent ICT general and applications controls review experience; CRISC, CISM and / or CGIET will be advantageous; Ability to work independently, organize tasks efficiently and perform the audit function accurately; Proven proficiency in understanding computer networks, computer applications, and how they interact with business processes, and understanding of the COBIT 5 framework; Able to cope under pressure; Strong verbal and written communication skills; At least 5 years ICT auditing, ICT governance and ICT risk management experience; Proficient in MS Office and the internet; Experience in project management or project management audits will be advantageous; A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or other equivalent degree; Proven proficiency in understanding and application of standards for the professional practice of internal and information systems auditing; Job Details: Company: Government Employees Medical Scheme – GEMS Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Pretoria Application Deadline: N/A [ads2] Apply Here instantcareers.net #J-18808-Ljbffr
