[ads1] Job Responsibilities: Ensure timely and regular implementation of the Staff Evaluation System (SES) in the RO and in the CO in the region. Oversee the maintenance of the PRISM HR Module in the COs to keep the information accurate and up-to-date. Review contracts and personnel action forms issued for HoO’s in the region and support the SRRMO in reviewing contract extension requests for international staff. 3. Monitor the personnel administration of RO Pretoria staff, for local staff currently performed by CO Pretoria, so as to ensure processes are followed correctly and that documentation is correct. Support the roll-out/implementation of new HR PRISM updates including eREC. HR Policy Implementation In coordination with the SRRMO, provide guidance to the COs in the region in managing the human resources function. Assist the SRRMO in implementing IOM’s Human Resources policies, rules and regulations, as well as standards and techniques taking into account the CO activities; and ensure that the COs’ administrative procedures are in place and followed and are in accordance with these practices. Job Requirements: Experience in human resources management and administration; Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, and effectively coordinate human resources and administrative activities; Working experience in administration and all facets of HR, Talent acquisition, talent management, administration of staff contracts and entitlements, training programs, interpretation and implementation of staff rules and regulations, and development of HR guidelines; University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience. Experience Experience in providing HR advice to directors, managers, and staff members; Experience in HR Management in the UN Common System or other comparable international organization is desirable; Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field of study from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is desirable.
