Expiry Date: 2024-05-15 Purpose of the role: The Company is looking for a BI Analyst Collections to join our team in Pretoria. The main responsibility of this role is to analyse and interpret data to help improve collections processes and strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in using BI tools and analytics, insights that will drive collection efficiencies and effectiveness. The BI Analyst Collections will work closely with the collections team to develop new strategies and tactics to improve collections outcomes. Key responsibilities: • Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing proper governance and validation processes. By performing daily backup, verification, collections and decryption and extraction of data. • Work collaboratively with the collections department to optimize collection workflows and practices for the POC handovers by generating new matter files, import data files into Excalibur on a daily basis and create hand over files from LMS. • Work collaboratively with the collections department in weekly creation and uploading of 35 days in default handovers onto Excalibur from the LMS and provide collections with the reports. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in collections operations. • Create reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders. • Work closely with the Collections team to understand their data needs and provide customized reports, analysis, and insights. • Conducting ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making and problem-solving. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Preferred). Experience: Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or collections analytics Knowledge and Skills: • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members. • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure • Proficiency in Full Microsoft Suite Training, Advance Excel, Advance MS Access and SQL and some coding experience in T-SQL and Visual Basic.
