Brief descriptionThe main purpose of this position is to manage the Market Operations and Investments Unit in the Financial Markets Department (FMD), and provide technical expertise on all facets of the domestic market operations to ensure:the effective implementation of monetary policy by the South African Reserve Bank (the Bank);the prudent management of the Corporation for Public Deposits’ (CPD) and Corporation for Deposit Insurance investment (CODI) portfolios;efficient funding operations for government; andmanagement of projects related to the domestic market operations and domestic financial market development.#J-18808-Ljbffr
