Requirements:Draughting Diploma /Certificate in SolidWorks.Sheetmetal/ Laser cutting experience.2 years Mechanical design/draughting engineering experience (2 Years +).2 years 3D CAD experience on Solidworks.Automation industry advantageous.Responsibilities:Create accurate, readable technical drawings as per designs.Compile drawing project plan, naming conventions and number generation.Generate 3D parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies.Generate detail drawings (project planning; parts; sub-assemblies; assemblies; revisions and redesigns).Has proficient knowledge of working with sheet metal and weldment.Ensure conversions of different file formats to complete drawingsImplement revisions and redesigns on all relevant drawings.Create, import, and ensure that correct templates are used at all times (Internal/External)Ensure that a fast and accurate bill of materials is generated.Ensure accurate dimensioning and detailing of drawings.Attend site visits as and when required for:Site establishment for 3D modelling.To verify discrepancies on existing drawings.Red lining issue for construction.Assist internal departments as and when required (marketing; production; manufacturing; R&D).
