JUNIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT: GL FUNCTIONS X1 Overview Reference SIU19/10/013 Salary ZAR548,676 - ZAR746,289/annum + Plus, Medical Aid Subsidy Job Location - South Africa -- Tshwane Metro -- Pretoria Job Type Permanent Posted 13 October 2023 Closing date 19 Oct 2023 23:59 Main purpose: To supervise the day-to-day transactions encompassing creditors, debtors, asset management, revenue, cashbook, and cash management in accordance with financial policies and procedures. Minimum qualification and experience: B Degree or Diploma in Financial Management or Accounting (NQF 6/7). Three years' experience in Financial Management or Accounting. Key performance areas (Include but not limited to): Creditor and employee payment processing. Petty cash management. Revenue and debtors' management. Acknowledgement of Debt (AOD) management. Cashbook and cash management. Technical skills: Analytical. Communication. Interpersonal. Time management. Planning and organising. Required knowledge and Behavioural (include but not limited to): Knowledge of financial legislation and regulations governing the public sector (i.e PFMA, Treasury Regulations). Knowledge of IFRS and GRAP statements. Knowledge of accounting systems. Intermediate MS Office proficiency. Attention to detail. Accuracy. Deadline driven. Integrity / Honesty. Work under pressure.
