We are seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high standards of service.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the daily operations of the fleet.Schedule and dispatch vehicles to meet customer requirements.Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance schedules.Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with drivers, mechanics, and other staff to ensure smooth operations.Manage fuel and maintenance costs.Implement and maintain fleet management systems.Conduct regular inspections and audits of the fleetQualifications for a Fleet ControllerEducation:High school diploma or equivalent.Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).Experience:Proven experience as a Fleet Controller, Fleet Manager, or in a similar role.Experience in logistics or transportation management.Skills:Fleet Management Software: Proficiency in using fleet management systems and software.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with drivers, mechanics, and other team members.Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected issues and ensure smooth operations.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve fleet performance.Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills to handle client inquiries and issues effectively.Technical Skills:Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.Understanding of safety and regulatory compliance for fleet operations.Proficiency in using GPS and tracking systems.Certifications (Optional but Preferred):Certification in fleet management or logistics (e.g., NAFA Fleet Management Association certification).Commercial driver's license (CDL) or other relevant licenses (if applicable).Additional Requirements:Valid driver's license.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Flexibility to work irregular hours or be on-call as needed.
