The successful applicant will be responsible for: Consulting Services Sales with Technical and or Mining industry skills to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirementsMeet goals and set priorities through excellent organizational skillsResearch and understand the market and client environment, trends, industry drivers, risks, and opportunitiesActively contribute to the formulation of the Customer Value Proposition and client experienceManage value added delivery and business benefit realizations for clients in the market segmentsEnsure commercial health and profitability on allocated projectsEnable account / contract managers to grow relationships with clients in the allocated Market Segment and to cross-sell the companys service offeringsExecute Business Development, Marketing and Sales Strategies for the allocated Market SegmentActively pursue opportunities in new segments / new clientsEnsure that credible and value-added solutions are crafted for new / existing clientsMonitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreedCoordinate with sales and technical teams to develop mutually beneficial proposalsMaintain and build trusted relationships with clients (current and new)Continuously stay up to date with new technical/mining industry developments and take personal accountability for personal developmentStrong focus on producing resultsExcellent communication skills with the ability to conduct presentations at all levels in the organization with and without presentation aidsEngage with clients and colleagues in a courteous and professional mannerRequirements: Related Bachelors Degree6-8+ years experience in target driven external sales of Services in the mining environmentPrevious experience in consulting environments highly recommendedNew business development experience in project management advantageousKey account management and an existing client base, or strong network of contacts, will secure successExcellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesSound organizational and time management skillsDriven and passionate about target driven external sales and new business developmentStrong internal motivation with the ability to work independently, but also an eager team player, collaborating effectively at all levelsMust have own reliable transport and valid drivers licenseMedically fit to visit and work in mining environmentsUnderstanding of the mining project value chainUnderstanding of consulting business practicesExperience in technical proposal writing, sales, account management and client business developmentAbility to travel for client engagements and events.Attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency in completing tasks.Entrepreneurial and Commercial ThinkingAbility to use initiative and assume responsibility, an innovative and pro-active mindsetOrganized and structured
