Basic Requirements:Formal Tertiary education: Grade 12 in a technical schoolTrade tested artisan- Millwright/Boilermaker/Fitter or TurnerExperience: 2 years automotive working experienceKnowledge of automated machinesKnowledge of PLC’sExcellent computer literacyExperience/knowledge in working with software programs such as Keyence, Cognex, SEW, Siemens, ectRead/understand electrical drawings like e-planGeneral maintenance and breakdown experienceLanguages: English – Read, write and speak (required)Afrikaans – Read, write and speak (optional)Drivers Licence: Code 8- (required)Job Objectives:Attend to any breakdowns on Jendamark facilitiesCustomer support regarding any project related breakdownsTelephonic support on all Jendamark projects worldwideGeneral project related workWork overtime on short noticeBe on standbyTo keep the customer’s production facilities in good running orderEffective, professional communication to the customer.Comprehensive feedback to the customer and colleagues regarding facility failures.High quality services on customer equipment.Main Tasks and Responsibilities:Fix breakdowns effectively with the least downtimeDo maintenance as per supplier recommendationsGood communication, effective servicePresentable, professionalAdd value to the customers operationAlways use the latest documentationWork in assembly and commissioning to gain experience.Keep up to date with latest technologyPreference will be given to employees from the designated groups in line with the provisions of the Employment Equity Act, No. 55 of 1998Jendamark Automation reserves the right not to make an appointment.
