DESCRIPTION:This role is responsible for assembling PCs, notebooks, and servers for all Company in-house spec builds, as well as client imaging of AIO, desktops, and laptops. The role will also assist the technical department to deliver on their objectives and exceed customer expectations.REQUIREMENTS:A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar position.Relevant production-line experience.Basic knowledge of RAID.Server assembly/QC experience or knowledge will be an advantage.Matric is essential.Intermediate level computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assembling of PCs, Notebooks, and servers.Completing orders in sequence, or as designated by the Assembly Supervisor.Ensuring that each order is complete and correct.Keeping the production line flowing without interruption and ensuring maximum productivity.Assisting the Technical department and growing personal technical knowledge and skills set.SKILLS:Good written and verbal business communication.Excellent people skills.Must be able to complete basic calculations (good aptitude to work with numbers).Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.Good attention to detail.Able to respectfully manage conflict situations.Organised and good at time management, enjoying a deadline-driven environment.Ability to prioritize a high workload.
