To coordinate the activities of the stock in the ethical warehouse in liaison with buyers, clerks and dispatch provide support to the responsible pharmacist.Requirements:Grade 12 2-4 Years in warehouse environmentPharmaceuticals knowledge is advantageousResponsibilities:Monitor and coordinate the activities of the warehouseReceive queries from staff regarding stock on shelves and address theseResponsible for activities in the warehouse Liaise with Supervisors on Mezzanine and warehouse floor regarding missing stockMove stock that has been received to the applicable areaPerform checks to ensure that staff has prepared shelves for stock takesCoordinate the binning of new ethical products, label and shelved correctlyParticipate and supervise in weekly/annual stock takesLiaise with buyers in regard of incorrect stock received, incorrect book-ins from the branches as well as suppliersMonitor expired/ out of date sheets and discontinued items.Report to buyer on slow moving lines/frozen stockReceive new products, obtain bin number, unpack, checking bar codes and wait for labels before listing on system.Oversee and be responsible for good housekeeping of work areaResponsible for taking corrective action when necessary in accordance with Company policy and proceduresResponsible for conducting Performance appraisal with subordinates on an annual basisResponsible for the training and development of staffResponsible for allocating work and monitoring absenteeismComplete any Human Resources related documentation and submit for record keepingResponsible for holding operational meetings as and when requiredFollow SOP, be visible to staffFollow up on outstanding queries, ensure staff is adequately informedAs and when requiredStock is located and binned correctlyCorrect unprepared shelves, report shortages of stock and check variance report as per the requirement of CompanyReport discrepancies to buyer immediately and follow up until resolvedEnsure these are removed from the shelves and sent through to Credit returns.Follow up with buyer that product is removed from systemAs per SOPArea is kept clean, free of waste and safe for employeesDocuments handed to HR by deadlines setTraining analysis documents are handed to HR by deadlines setEvenly allocated to ensure maximum efficiency and deadlines are metSent to HR daily when information is receivedDepartment communication is held regularly and each team member understands what is required of them if asked.Please consider your application unsuccessful should you not receive a response within two weeks of applying.
