Process Engineer (Monitoring) Duties include:Process Engineer (Monitoring)’s role is to provide support to production to ensure that critical elements of the Body shop Control plans are in place and adhered too. Timely feedback to Body shop management on non-adherence to carry out the control element tasks to ensure a reliable product. Prevent negative impact on Plant Quality KPI and Flow out KPI as a result of production and their support functions not fulfilling the assigned roles and responsibilities with regards to the Control plan elementsParticipate in Sectional Team, Zonal Teams, Task Force Team and Continuous Improvement workshops and implement Ergonomic and Process improvement IdeasPlan and co-ordinate the introduction of all Process Changes and implementation of facilities changes as identified via ECR’s/Aeko’sEstablish investments required relevant to Process changes and create and update Process production plansComplete Projects according to timing plans and within budgetCo-ordinate and maintain all Technical data for the production linesAttend all in-house Audits to understand quality issues in order to support production to eliminate the correct root causes as well as process and VDA auditsSupport correction of all welding non conformances within section Minimum Requirements National N Diploma, National Diploma or degree in Engineering/ Mechatronics/ Operations/ Production Management2 - 3 years minimum technical/ engineering experience within an automotive manufacturingHave knowledge of jigs and fixtures and be able to effect dimensional accuracy of vehicle bodyPrepared to travel overseasCommunicate at all levelsProven analytical skills with an innovative approach to problem-solvingProficient in MS OfficeDetailed knowledge of Body Shop processes and equipmentSound technical knowledge with respect to the Production, Tooling, Facilities and Systems
