Our client, a well established Electrical Contractor focused on the renewable energy sector, seeks to employ a Junior Electronics Technician, for their solar and renewable energy projects team in Gqeberha.Please note that this role does require a candidate resident in the Gqeberha region due to the urgency to commence employment.KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATIONYou must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.You will have completed a N6 or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (LC) or Electronics, coupled with completed P1 and P2 specifically working on programming of hardware and/or PLC’s, as well as setting up of systems and devices, testing functionality and calibrating/repairing malfunctions.Experience on programming solar systems would be advantageousYou must have a valid driver’s licence, and a clear criminal and credit record Due to the exceptionally high volume of applications, we are unable to correspond with each applicant personally, therefore only relevant and suitable candidates will be contacted.
