We’re looking for a dedicated Production Planner to join our clients dynamic team, reporting directly to the Customer Services Team Leader. In this role, you’ll be responsible for issuing weekly production schedules, maintaining stock levels, managing slow and dead stock, and coordinating inter-company sales and purchasing.Key Responsibilities:Issue weekly production schedules for production requirementsEnsure sufficient finished goods stock to fulfill orders and maintain reorder levelsManage slow and dead stock levels within parametersCoordinate inter-company sales and purchasingAdvise on raw materials exceptions for new or changed productsLiaise with Stores & Distribution for service efficienciesPlace orders with direct suppliers and manage stock levelsAdvise on machine capacity requirements for the futureLong-term planning of production capacity in the plantAssist with the utilization budget processQualifications and Competencies:Degree in supply chain or related fieldStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skillsSAP experience is advantageousMathematics in matricPlanning or buying experience in manufacturing or retail is advantageous3-5 years of manufacturing admin experience/exposure is essentialIf you meet these qualifications and are ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role, we want to hear from you!
