National Packaging Company - Production Manager The national packaging company is looking for a Production Manager with experience in the FMCG/packaging industry for their Pinetown plant. Annual Remuneration: To R1.2mil (neg) plus bonus/es Competencies: Degree: Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering preferred Experience: 5+ years in FMCG/packaging/continuous manufacturing production Management: 3+ years Production/Unit Management experience Advantageous: Plastic injection and/or blow moulding experience Standards: Familiar with FSSC or ISO9001 Skills: Intermediate experience in Excel and working with numbers/spreadsheets Characteristics: Self-motivated, energetic, and able to motivate and empower a team Able to make tough decisions and manage complexity Excellent communication and proven track record of managing a production team Strong sense of urgency, enjoys hands-on roles, and being on the floor Key Performance Areas: Managing production staff to ensure a motivated and high-performing team Managing all machine and plant maintenance Machine efficiencies of Identification and achievement of measurable technical and process developments Establishing budget for mould expenses and equipment, including controlling consumable costs Controlling spares usage and costs Partnering with Quality to maintain standards according to FSSC and ISO systems Overseeing and assisting with training of production staff Working with HSE for a safe working environment and adherence to safety procedures Ensuring proper housekeeping and adherence to the dress code Contact: Scott - 0117041302 #J-18808-Ljbffr
