Job Description:Our client is looking for an experienced Estimator / Cost planner to join their team. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience within the printing industry.Duties include:Maintaining accuracy of times, rates and costing of estimating programmeOn receipt of quote request, plan a layout of how the job will be printed and finished to minimize the overall costGathering quotations for any outwork and/or handworkLiaising with factory manager on new and specific print requirementsUsing the estimating programme, prepare a costing and quote for the customerManaging the estimating programme: ensuring rates and paper prices on the system are up to date and that labour times are calculated accuratelyClient liaisonReceive and process ordersCostingOn completion of the job check work ticket value to customer order valueMonthly Duties:Management of all paper purchasing and out workPaper price negotiationManaging stock levels of floor stockPrepare a stock valuation spreadsheet using physical counts and invoice costsBalance sales paper purchases, outwork and commissions recorded on monthly sales spreadsheets to the corresponding general ledger accounts#J-18808-Ljbffr
