Attend maintenance planning meetings, plans and schedules work to be outsourced as well ensuring a fair allocation of work to vendors. Arranges replacement vehicles for the operations when required in compliance with the service level agreement. Ensures that concise work specifications are compiled using technical information from senior superintendents from vehicle and hydraulic workshops, and given to vendors regarding maintenance standards required in compliance with laid down fleet management policies. Alignment of various maintenance tasks i.e. hydraulic maintenance tasks and statutory certification with mechanical servicing of vehicles and COF (Certificate of Fitness) and coordinates the execution thereof to minimise downtime on Electricity Services fleet. Liaises with quality assurance inspectors re inspection of outsourced work to ensure that the work to be executed is necessary, that quality standards are maintained and that the prices quoted are fair and reasonable and arranges authority for such repairs within financial delegated authorities. Inserting the relevant information (quantitative / qualitative) and / or details of activities. Referring to work schedules and registers to re-prioritise such schedules where necessary. Desired Experience&Qualification Requirements: Trade test Diesel or Petrol. 5 years relevant experience in Diesel or Petrol Trade post qualification.
