### Job Opportunity: External Sales Representative – Automotive Parts – Parow BranchA leading automotive wholesaler dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our valued customers is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to fill the role of External Sales Representative at our Parow Branch.#### Key Responsibilities:– **Sales Communication**: Effectively communicate the benefits of DE Cape’s products to drive sales and establish strong connections between DE Cape and prospects/clients.– **Customer Engagement**: Identify and educate prospective customers while supporting existing clients with comprehensive product-related information.– **Customer Base Management**: Manage a diverse customer base, including retail workshops, spares shops, diesel pump rooms, agricultural co-ops, fitment centres, fleet owners, automotive dealerships, and more.– **Business Development**: Expand and diversify the customer base while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business growth.– **Sales Targets**: Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through proactive sales efforts.– **Area Management**: Maintain detailed call logs for allocated areas, and submit daily and monthly reports to track progress.– **Cost-Benefit Analysis**: Perform cost-benefit analyses for customers to demonstrate the value of DE Cape’s products and services.– **Customer Relations**: Maintain positive business relationships to ensure ongoing buying patterns and future sales, following a structured call plan aimed at 6-8 client visits per day.– **New Client Acquisition**: Visit a minimum of 1 new client daily and handle credit applications to expand the customer base.– **Gap Analysis**: Conduct gap analysis to ensure retailers maintain a comprehensive product range.– **Customer Support**: Uphold the highest level of service and customer support, expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints with prompt feedback.– **Customer Presence**: Maintain a regular presence at the customer level to ensure loyalty and represent the company at customer functions/events.– **Promotional Programs**: Implement and coordinate promotional programs to boost sales.– **Team Coordination**: Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.– **Competitor Awareness**: Keep abreast of competitor information and communicate relevant details to management.– **Strategic Reporting**: Prepare strategic reports for clients on sales history and information to inform their purchasing decisions.– **Product Knowledge**: Stay updated on all product training and specifics to provide accurate information to clients.– **Additional Duties**: Perform additional ad-hoc duties as requested by the External Sales Manager.#### Minimum Requirements:– **Education**: Matric.– **Driver’s License**: Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle.– **Sales Experience**: Minimum 2 years Proven experience in sales in a similar automotive role.– **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Excel required for generating comprehensive reports and visualizing data through graphs.– **Communication Skills**: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.– **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.– **Industry Knowledge**: Knowledge of the automotive industry and products is advantageous.– **Customer Service**: Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.#### Salary:R30 000 per monthJoin us and be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in the automotive wholesale industry.The post External Sales Representative – Automotive Parts – Parow Branch appeared first on freerecruit.co.za.
