Business Manager: USA, UAE&GDF Job grade: 06 Division: International Sales Reporting to: Executive: International Markets Location: Paarl Purpose: To develop and institute strategies to maximize profit across multiple markets through the relevant routes to market. Minimum Requirements: 5 Years liquor related experience in sales, marketing and brand development (wine and spirits) Degree in Commerce/ Marketing/ Finance or similar business related qualification A good grounding in key accounts, category management and trade activity experience Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Experience in USA/GDF/UAE markets Portuguese speaking will be an advantage Skills and knowledge required: Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, planning&organising skills Strong commercial and financial acumen Good interpersonal skills Ability to communicate with international clients and direct manager Willingness to travel on a constant basis In-depth understanding of international FMCG market Great communication and Team building skills Job summary: Determine the strategic direction for the business areas and implement tactical plans to ensure yearly sales and profit objectives Achievement of sales and profit plans and targets by effective implementation of sales/trading strategies Drive innovative programs designed to achieve new business growth, market differentiation and securing a leadership position on an international perspective Drive operational efficiency of the business, ensuring transaction costs are minimised and efficiency is maximised Ensure sound systems are in place in order to effectively manage the business Ensure the development and continuous management and improvement of effective channels to the markets and customers Develop co-operative relationships with manufacturing units as well as other export business units of the Company and Group Foster outstanding customer service. Ensure that the customers/consumers demands are met and relevant business opportunities are explored and implemented Effective execution of in-market marketing plans while understanding consumer demand Accurately forecast monthly sales requirements in line with demand planning based in in market sales Implementation of advertising and promotional requirements Accountable for regional income statement of assigned countries to trading profit level Experience in developing and expanding route to market execution Closing date : 25 June 2024 Should you not hear from us within one month of the closing date of the advert, kindly regard your application to have been unsuccessful.
