As an Environmental&Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing environmental and sustainability initiatives within our organization. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain, environmental policies and procedures Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate environmental risks Establish and maintain relationships with authorities to ensure company objectives in terms of legal compliance are achieved Provide training and education to employees on environmental matters Liaise with regulatory agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders on environmental issues Establish and maintain relationships with authorities to ensure company objectives in terms of legal compliance are achieved Monitor and report on environmental indicators to ensure internal objectives and targets are met across the business Lead, organise and conduct internal compliance audits Manage, maintain, and improve the company's environmental management system in line with company standards Facilitates all forms of risk assessments and acts as a final authority where a specialist response is required in relation to risk assessments performed by others Liaise with the relevant site management teams regarding all matters relating to sustainability Implement and conduct environment inspections and audits programs, including the completion of documentation of compliance and corrective actions taken or to be taken Requirements National Diploma in Environmental Health Degree in Environmental Health, Environmental Science, or related field advantageous Professional certification in environmental management advantageous At least 8-10 years' work experience in environmental management, preferably in a food manufacturing environment Excellent project management and leadership skills Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Proficient in data analysis and reporting Professional certifications in environmental management or sustainability are a plus Benefits Salary: negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training&Development Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
