Preparing weekly payment schedule Job Description The producer accountant provides accounting support to internal departments, customers and growers and administers all accounting and reporting related to growers. Key Performance Outputs Ensure financial information to our growers is timely and accurately prepared Evaluate standard cost with moving average costs - analyse variances Verifying all income and ensuring all credits/claims are processed Prepare/calculate grower advances and submit for payment Prepare weekly cost reconciliations, per commodity group, by creating, review and maintain all sales&cost related transactions Preparing weekly payment schedule Maintaining and distributing weekly reports to the sales team Analyze grower revenue and costs through a production season Requirements Minimum Education/Qualification/Experience Essential relevant Financial / Cost accounting qualification 2 / 3 years of cost accounting experience Sound understanding of accounting principles Knowledge of agriculture practices and an understanding of challenges in the industry Inventory, Production, cost experience Advance excel skills for reporting&calculating purposes using large volumes of data #J-18808-Ljbffr
