KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Advocate of learning culture: Manage employee development in a planned manner in accordance with the MCSA strategy. Manage formal students: Act as custodian of learning and development standards of the locality. Enable transformation through learning and development. REQUIRED EDUCATION ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Degree in General Nursing Science and Midwifery. DESIRED EDUCATION: Postgraduate qualification in nursing education. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years experience as a Professional Nurse practitioner in a hospital environment; at least 2 years experience in a learning and development role. DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Postgraduate qualification in nursing education. REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Adult Learning Principles Kirk Patrick levels of evaluation Instructional Design (ADDIE model) and the application thereof General nursing science and clinical skills Relevant Mediclinic record systems, e.g. Kronos, CRS, Connect, Webi Mediclinic clinical procedures and policies Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Education, training and relevant healthcare-related legislation and its application within learning and development environment; HWSETA and SANC requirements Transformation strategy&B-BBEE and EE targets Mentoring and performance coaching skills Mediclinic grievance, disciplinary&absenteeism processes (students) Mediclinic Learning and Development strategy, policies and guidelines Learning (group) facilitation tools, techniques and best practices All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
