Introduction Quantum Foods has a career opportunity at its Nulaid Farming Operations for an Electrician to join our dynamic team. This position will report directly to the Manager Farming Operations. The position will be based on Fransrug farm, Agter-Paarl, Western Cape. Fit, inspect and test fuse boxes, circuits and wiring systems & equipment Repair fuse boxes, circuits and wiring systems & equipment Set programmable logical circuits (PCL’s) Commissioning of Poultry Houses prior to placement Electrical installations and maintenance thereof General maintenance work Manage budget of maintenance at Fransrug Manage workshop and stock Plan and implement preventative maintenance Follow and implement health and safety policies and procedures Manage small team Civil and Domestic house maintenance Relevant Technical Trade or Training Certificate Minimum of 2 - 3 years relevant Electrical & Maintenance experience Farming Operations Experience will be advantageous Poultry Equipment knowledge will be advantageous Computer Literate Valid driver’s license & own transport is mandatory Weekend duties and Standby is mandatory Clear Criminal Record At Quantum Foods we are committed to Employment Equity and offer a competitive salary package and benefits.
