GPP is an FCA regulated investment firm that provides: ·Custody services to predominantly discretionary fund managers (DFMs) and independent financial advisors (IFAs) ·Clearing and settlement services mainly on an agency basis for its DFMs and IFAs ·Trade execution services mainly for its DFMs, IFAs and institutional clients ·Utilising the same core infrastructure, GPP also serves a significant number of institutional broker-dealers and institutional investor clients. The role The Operational Risk Analyst will report into the Risk Manager, this role will cover Operational Risk for GPP. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to reinforce a culture of risk management. Job responsibilities Helping to devise and implement and Enterprise Risk Management framework and Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) Assist in the maintenance of effective risk management and reporting. Support on ICAAP/ ICARA, Recovery Plan, Resolution Pack and WindDown Plan Maintain reliable and up-to-date data to support risk monitoring MI and report any risk breaches. Assist with the maintenance of risk appetite statements, metrics, trigger points and escalations. Assist in the development and implementation of risk reporting and monitoring tools to enhance visibility and transparency of operational risks. Help in the development of a risk assurance programme Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans. Conduct root cause analysis of risk events and incidents to identify opportunities for process improvements and control enhancements. Assisting on ad-hoc projects to improve the overall health and efficiency of GPP’s risk management framework. Any other duties in line with the level and scope of this role. Adhere to consumer duty. Requirements Previous operational risk management experience and/ or exposure to regulatory frameworks. Experience with gathering and analysing data (excel and pivot tables). Technology minded approach. Strong data analytical skills Good interpersonal skills and an ability to challenge business stakeholders constructively.
