Relevant QualificationCompleted articlesJob DutiesLegal Research and Analysis:Conducting thorough legal research on various issues and case laws.Analyzing statutes, regulations, and case law to provide legal opinions.Drafting Legal Documents:Preparing and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents for court cases.Drafting contracts, wills, trusts, and other legal agreements.Assisting in the preparation of discovery documents, such as interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.Client Interaction:Meeting with clients to discuss their cases, gather facts, and provide updates on case progress.Offering legal advice and outlining available options and potential outcomes.Maintaining regular communication with clients to address their concerns and questions.Case Management:Managing and organizing case files and documents.Developing case strategies in conjunction with senior attorneys.Ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.Court Appearances:Representing clients in court under the supervision of a senior attorney, including arguing motions and attending hearings.Preparing witnesses and evidence for trial.Participating in depositions and other pre-trial proceedings.Negotiation and Settlement:Engaging in settlement negotiations on behalf of clients.Drafting and reviewing settlement agreements.Billing and Time Management:Tracking billable hours accurately and efficiently.Preparing invoices for client services rendered.Professional Development:Keeping up-to-date with changes in the law and legal precedents.Attending continuing legal education (CLE) courses and firm training sessions.Building a network within the legal community and potentially developing a client base.Administrative Tasks:Assisting in administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.Supervising and mentoring junior staff, paralegals, and interns if applicable.Marketing and Business Development:Contributing to the firms marketing efforts, including writing articles, attending networking events, and participating in seminars.Assisting in the development of new client relationships.Salary:To be confirmed
