Facilities Manager – Northern Suburbs, Cape Town – Salary Based on ExperienceThe Facilities Manager will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.Responsibilities:Manage routine maintenance and repairs of electrical, fire, mechanical, plumbing, building structure, and equipment.Report all R&M and PM and Engineering activity to management and action accordinglyReport maintenance activities and risks related to security, CCTV, and roof beams to management.Respond promptly to maintenance issues.Maintain updated maintenance and service schedules.Ensure timely job card closure with administrative staff.Implement and adhere to Health & Safety and quality assurance standards.Supervise and coordinate subcontractor work.Identify and implement FM operation improvements.Ensure compliance and maintenance records are up-to-date.Manage administration, correspondence, and budgets.Submit quotes and invoices to Facilities Head.Submit weekly building inspection reports.Be on standby for critical maintenance issues, including after-hours.Requirements:Experience in Electrical, Mechanical and General Building Infrastructure, and Project Management (Essential)Experience in understanding cause and effect in Building Management Systems (BMS)5 years’ experience in Facilities Management, Building Management, Building Maintenance Management or Operations Management (infrastructure) Role (Essential)Qualifications, Competencies, and Skills:Diploma or Degree in Retail Business administration, Project Management, Building Science or Engineering (Mechanical Engineering Advantageous)Minimum 5 years of management experience in Facilities or Building Management.People, Project, and Financial Management.Operational planning and implementation.Understanding industry standards and service level agreements. 2 people have applied for this job. 119 people have viewed this job.#J-18808-Ljbffr
