The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various destinations in a safe and timely manner. The Code 10 Driver should demonstrate excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.Key Responsibilities:Driving:Operate and drive company vehicles, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations.Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations.Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.Delivery and Collection:Ensure the accurate and timely delivery or collection of goods as per schedule.Handle loading and unloading of materials with care to prevent damage.Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries or pickups.Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour at all times.Vehicle Maintenance:Report any mechanical issues or defects promptly.Regularly inspect and maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle. Documentation:Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and submit on time.Keep records of trips, including fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance activities.Safety Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while driving and handling materials.Participate in safety training programs as required.Qualifications and Skills:Valid Code 10 driver's license with a clean driving record and with PrDP Driver's LicenseProven experience as a Code 10 Driver.Knowledge of traffic laws, routes, and regulations.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and in a team.Physical fitness for loading and unloading tasks.High school diploma or equivalent.Reside near or around Pomona Kempton ParkAdditional Requirements:Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is a plus.
