Job DescriptionA renewable energy firm is currently seeking a Solar PV Project Engineer to join their team in Cape Town. This Project Engineer will need to assist with all engineering related matters, which includes the designing of renewable energy systems, precise prediction of project costings, calculating system productions and ensuring the designed systems are robust in operation.Requirements:BSc/ BEng: Electrical EngineeringExperience: 6-10 YearsSpecialization: Extensive experience in the renewable industry sector, specialising in solar PV.Responsibilities:Prepare budgets for new projectsSite inspections – to accurately design and cost new projectsExperienced in management and involvement of commissioningAssist with the operations and maintenance issuesProficient in MS Office, MS Projects, PVSyst, PVSol, HelioscopeAble to work independently and have leadership qualitiesCorrespondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
