Job Title: Analytical Method Development Senior Scientist (Chemistry) Location: Cape Town Essential requirements: 2 years proven hands-on experience in analytical method development in pharmaceutical / Biotech or similar sector Qualification / Experience Requirements, but not limited to: Qualification: PhD or MSc preferred, with 2 years' relevant experience in analytical method development (developing methods), with pharmaceutical industry or similar relevant industry experience 1-year supervisory experience in relevant field Experience and knowledge gained in scientific principles governing biological production Knowledge of quality and regulatory compliance: SAPHRA, WHO, and GDP, and IP management Technology transfer experience will be an advantage Familiarity with cGMP (SA, PIC, WHO) and GLP guidelines Experience with in local quality audits will be an advantage Exposure to pharmaceutical product development and commercialization Manage laboratory administration, including budgeting and cost control Ensure timely delivery of services to internal and external stakeholders Mitigate risks and anticipate issues affecting operations Maintain compliance with cGMP guidelines and manage change controls and NCRs Address facility issues and risks in collaboration with Engineering Provide assistance and guidance to operational departments as needed Generate documentation in accordance with scientific, GMP, and GDP guidelines Lead analytical method development (chemical) and experimental planning Assist with technology transfers from development to manufacturing Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and quality risk management Manage deviations, change controls, and CAPAs Drive quality objectives and ensure effective communication and issue escalation Application Instructions: Please submit your CV and cover letter to response@mvgrecruitement.co.za #J-18808-Ljbffr
