OverviewHire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly motivated Renewable Energy Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team in Cape Town. This role focuses on developing sales opportunities for renewable energy solutions, particularly in medium to large Commercial and Industrial (C&I) projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and customers to create optimized technical solutions for renewable energy projects, driving our mission to provide sustainable energy solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop sales opportunities for renewable energy solutions, focusing on medium to large C&I projects.Collaborate with internal teams and/or customers to develop optimized technical solutions for renewable energy projects.Conduct preliminary technical solution design, costing, and proposal write-ups.Assist in client contract negotiations.Grow sales with new and existing accounts in assigned areas to meet business targets.Develop competitive strategies to achieve sales objectives and maintain awareness of competitor activity.Provide input on the business plan to ensure sales sustainability.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers within the industry.RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of technical sales experience in renewable energy or a related field.Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.Technical understanding of solar PV, battery energy storage systems, diesel generators, and electrical reticulation.Ability to address technical questions and solutions with customers and partners.Strong coordination skills among multidisciplinary teams (both internally and externally).Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.Ability to work effectively in a matrix organizational structure.Knowledge of project management is advantageous.Experience with large-scale solar installations is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
