Regional Trade Marketing Manager (Africa & Middle East) – Cape Town.Are you a Trade Marketing Specialist who would like to grow their career with an International concern? Opportunity to lead and coordinate Trade marketing activities for Africa and Middle East markets across multichannel (On trade, Off trade, E retail) to maximize brand image, sales & profitability.Experience with International exposure in the luxury brands sector, retail or FMCG industry will be ideally suited to this role.Requirements:Matric, master’s degree in business administration or marketingAt least 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing, trade marketing, business development (FMCG)Solid knowledge in financial & administrative processesIdeally experience in luxury goods, retail or FMCGRigor, accuracy, and respect of deadlinesStrong level of energy, enthusiasm, entrepreneurship, and autonomyCurious, hard-working, and hands-onManagement, leadership, analytical & effective planning skillsResult orientation and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, a team playerInternational exposure and multicultural background are a strong plusTravel across the region (25-30% of the time)Duties and Responsibilities:Strategy & Brand Planning:Provide input and market insight to lead all trade marketing activities across Africa & Middle East markets to maximise brand image, sales & profitability.Create and implement strategy for building the best visibility and distribution in On & Off Trade channelProvide commercial analysis and highlight implications – industry data, category, competitors, distribution, pricing etc. to make recommendations.In liaison with Marketing Director, ensure regional and market focus on prestige range portfolio strategy; markets to achieve 6% in Sales value.Analyse data from trade marketing reports, research, retail audit and customer salesBased on information collated give input into channel specific trade marketing plans which meet the company’s market, brand/promotion objectives reflecting the needs & priorities of the trade channel.Develop and implement cycle/ quarterly activation plan in line with strategic brand plans, providing 360-degree execution.Consumer & Customer Intelligence: develop an understanding of route to market, shopper understanding, local cultures/trends to create programmes with local cultural relevance.Trade Marketing:Lead and coordinate Trade marketing activities for Africa and Middle East markets across multichannel (On trade, Off trade, E retail) to maximize brand image, sales & profitabilityDevelop sales activity objectives for the RegionProvide teams in the field with a structured set of tools and clear executional guidelines to implement 360 activationsDrive portfolio merchandising, visibility, POS, and tailor-made projects to maximize brand image and innovation vs competitorsDevelop and manage network of suppliers and agencies to ensure best in class executions and maximize cost efficienciesSupport markets with creative designs, coordinate production and implementationAct as a central touch point to coordinate and drive various business objectives between agencies, suppliers, regional, market & global (Maison) stakeholdersManage and co-ordinate stakeholder visits and ensure markets and brands are optimally representedTrade Promotions Development / Project Evaluation:Ensure development, implementation, and evaluation of trade promotions for National, Local Key & On Trade CustomersQuarterly and bi annual reporting of trade marketing KPIsProvide post evaluation analyse of results On & Off Trade activitiesEvaluate results and recommend proper promotion mechanics.Create reporting base in On & Off-Trade channels: photo, results, timing, POSM, etc.Lead, implement and upgrade on time all necessary information in MHPS.Budgeting / New Venture Brands / E-Retail:Generate promo-strategy plans with Brand managers for planning budgets.Drive increased focus on new brands across the Region by delivering right tools for trade activations to drive growth ambitionsDevelop and implement e-retail tools in line with globalWorking with e-retail manager / commercial teams, conduct analysis of E-retail universe, digital landscape and identify new opportunities#J-18808-Ljbffr
