OVERALL PURPOSE We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Senior Data Analyst to join our team. This role demands a curious and insightful individual with a genuine passion for uncovering meaningful insights within data. As a valuable member of our Data Science team, your primary objective will be to uncover trends and insights from data, and craft compelling visualisations and reports for our internal stakeholders. Your focus will be on driving data quality and governance to facilitate informed business decisions, helping us enhance our products and services. Responsibilities will include: Analyse stakeholder reporting requirements from a data and functional perspective, identifying key analytical needs Dive into data sets to identify, analyse, and interpret trends, presenting actionable insights to support business strategies Investigate and resolve data issues by effectively liaising with appropriate business and tech teams, ensuring data accuracy and reliability Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers on various projects, leveraging your analytical skills to drive impactful outcomes Communicate findings effectively through visually appealing reports and presentations, translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders Acquire and aggregate data from various sources while maintaining a focus on data quality, ensuring accuracy in the delivered insights Regularly interact with internal stakeholders, keeping them informed and engaged with the latest data-driven insights to support their decision-making Collaboratively analyse and problem-solve, fostering a team-oriented approach to data analysis within the organisation THE COMPETENCIES WE’RE AFTER Strong analytical skills, enabling you to source, organise, and analyse substantial amounts of information with precision and attention to detail Ability to quickly and accurately analyse data, meeting reasonable deadlines while maintaining high-quality output Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively present findings and insights to various stakeholders Creative thinking ability to unearth valuable insights from data and drive strategic decision-making Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively, as well as independently, to drive impactful data analysis THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR BSc degree or similar field (or equivalent) Demonstrated work experience in data analysis and reporting within financial services or the fintech space Strong SQL skills – proficiency in writing and debugging SQL, with experience in functions, stored procedures, tables, views, etc. 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and MSSQL 5+ years of Python experience, specifically focused on data analysis Experience with visualisation tools, particularly Mixpanel, Looker Studio and Power BI, would be advantageous Familiarity with Agile methodologies #J-18808-Ljbffr
