As an STE, your role involves collaborating with peersto deliver dynamic customer solutions, leveraging innovative technologies andcoding methodologies to maintain our Client’s cutting-edge platform. The idealcandidate should thrive in an independent work environment. Additionally, theSTE may be required to support technology colleagues in troubleshootingapplication issues. TheSTE may participate in Quality Assurance (QA) activities and the releaseprocess for new platform functionalities, regardless of whether they developedthe code or it originated from another team member. RESPONSIBILITY&DUTY This position isbased in Stellenbosch, South Africa, and from time to time may require travelto the Client’s office located in Attleboro, Massachusetts, USA.This role is a full time, in-officerole.Flexi hours will be considered to accommodatedaily commute. Requirements EDUCATION&EXPERIENCE 10 to 15 yearsexperience working in Software Development or Engineering. A bachelor’s degreein Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related field of study orequivalent work experience -Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies,including SQL Server, is preferred but not required. A strong backgroundin FinTech, Channel Financing, and Banking is highly sought. Candidates withexperience in these sectors will bring valuable industry-specific insights thatare crucial for the development and enhancement of our Client’s platform. JOB SKILLS Deep Understanding of MSSQL: Proficiency in Microsoft SQLServer, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting. Expertise in TSQL: Extensive experience in writingcomplex TSQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to manipulate andretrieve data efficiently. Database-First ArchitectureProficiency: Experience indeveloping and maintaining applications where the primary architecture isdatabase-first, meaning most of the application logic resides within theSQL database rather than in the application layer. Knowledge of .Net,C#, and Azure Cloud is also important. Demonstration of strong communicationand human relations skills. The STE position requires a priority on customersatisfaction. Accepts responsibility for independent decisions and works withminimal supervision. COMPENSATION The STE is a salariedposition working 40 hours.
