Key Requirements• Excellent command of English language both written and verbal.• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.• Excellent understanding of CCTV / Surveillance systems and their operations.• Very good understanding of cargo vessels, their operations and maritime security operations.• Proactive, self-motivated, effective, well organized and with problem-solving mindset.• Ability to observe details, plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.• Strong capabilities in close monitoring, report compilation, organizing tasks, and efficient record keeping.• Computer literate, with excellent knowledge and working abilities in Microsoft Office.Qualifications• Proven and adequate work experience.• Relevant Training and minimum 1 year of experience in Maritime Security.Job Responsibilities• Operate and monitor the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and Surveillance security systems.• Promptly report any Safety, Security, or technical matters and create corresponding tickets.• Efficiently perform and coordinate day-to-day tasks, ensuring they are carried out in a timely and effective manner, following the instructions of the Senior Operator and / or Supervisor.• Conduct a comprehensive and thorough handover prior to the commencement of each shift.• Aid in the training of new and existing personnel, following the guidance of the Operations Supervisor.• Provide assistance and support to the department as directed by the Operations Supervisor.• Assist in investigations as instructed.• Possess extensive knowledge and understanding of the prescribed actions to be taken in the event of an incident, following the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Key Skills• Operational and analytical thinking.• Attention to detail.• Knowledge of Maritime Security regulations and procedures.• Ability to interpret departmental data.• Ability to support and motivate a team.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Teamwork and collaboration abilities.• Observant with a high level of concentration.• Ability to demonstrate practical knowledge and problem-solving strategies.• Excellent knowledge of all internal software.• Thorough understanding of OPS Department and Company Codes, Procedures and Protocols.
