Role Description:Plan menus and set prices in cooperation with the Catering Manager, to achieve and maintain the, budgeted food cost.Purchase or requisition supplies and ensure that these are properly issued, used, and accounted for.Carries out weekly stock-take and food rotation procedures.Allocates duties to kitchen staff, supervises them in cooking dishes, gives technical advice and guidance when necessary, and personally prepares dishes.Inspects dishes for quality and attractiveness before serving.Deals with complaints about food in accordance with Company procedure.Ensure compliance with Statutory Company regulations concerning the hygiene and safety of staff, food, and equipment.Maintains records relating to food production activities and supplies information as required by the catering manager.Requirements:MatricFluent in EnglishPrevious catering experience is essential (5 years)Salary:10,000 - 12,000 (depending on experience & qualifications)Provident fundContribution to medical aid15 days leaveWorking days: Monday - Friday#J-18808-Ljbffr
